Echange Franco-Gallois 2019: Futuroscope, nous voila!

Dear Readers,

I hope this blog will find you well. This is what we've been up to yesterday... It was a blast, but do not let me spoil it for you too soon.

So we headed off at 8.15am for a three hours journey to our first theme park: the "Futuroscope":

The weather started cloudy but it had other plans for us later on. Anyway, the excitement was as its highest when approaching our destination, as you can imagine.

After a few formalities we were finally in. To our delight, there wasn't many people there, which meant we wouldn't have to queue for long to get in any of the attractions there.

We started as a whole group in the first one, which transported us around the world on a ship... The kids were amazed... And so was I to be honest :-)

After that first great experience, because different people wanted to do different things and because the park was fairly empty, we decided to separate ourselves into groups. Some wanted to stay with us, teachers, and some went their own way... Safety was obviously at the essence...

So, our little group decided to travel in time with a parody from some nutty rabbits... It was hilarious 😂🤣😂

We carried on onto a visual water art visit of the departement of Vienne, where the park is situated, followed a "Dynamic" race in a virtual world of insect.

As the weather was great, some wanted to try trampolining but soon found out it was too hot for physical activities! 🥵 🥵

So we went on to explore more of the park...

... Ending up savings Arthur from being stuck in the world of the Minimoys... One of the fav of the day 😁

Some brave pupils went dancing with robots (Rhian, Dan and Lewis), while the rest of us watched them from the balcony... My stomach turned just watching them 🤪
