Le Puy du Fou

Dear Readers

And, here we are... On our way to theme park #2 of the week!
Despite the tiredness from what we have done so far and the stiffness from the water activities from yesterday, everyone seemed excited about the day ahead... And the weather was perfect 🌞😎🌞

Family photo before entering the time machine...

Our first stop: Richelieu's Musketeers (unfortunately, no photos allowed inside 😣)

A quick spot of lunch...

... Before enjoying The Knights of the Round table show πŸ‘

We then went to watch The Vickings, where we witnessed boats coming downhill as well as from under water πŸ™†...

After some retail therapy, some of us went to watch The Secret of the Spear, taking us back to Joan of Arc time... Impressive horse riding trick and pyrotechnics action πŸ‘πŸ‘

To conclude a great day, it was to the coleseum we went to watch some gladiators action, including sighting of lions, Tiggers, hyaena, an impressive 4 chariot race and a parade that included even more animals!

Concentrated faces during the show...

... Happy faces coming out 😁
Sadly, it was time for us to go home... Another busy evening for all as we needed to pack our suitcases, ready for tomorrow's final leg of the journey πŸ₯Ί

P.S.: Some kids wanted me to add this, so here we go...

On our way back to Derval, we stopped not far from there at a service station to fill up with diesel. When we arrived, we all got off to go get some refreshments, when I saw the driver waving at me frantically... To cut a long story short, I don't know how, but the minibus was locked... With the keys inside!!! 😡
......
Fortunately, the boot was still open, and Super Llyr, climbed up the trap, went to the driver's seat, started up the engine and pushed the button to open the door!!!
......
However, we were all gutted as we all left our phones on the bus an non of this has been immortalised πŸ™ˆ

I do love trips that go according to plans! πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

Hoping you are still enjoying the delayed news, until next time πŸ˜‰

Discovery of Derval and Outdoor Activities

Dear Readers,

First of all, sorry for the delay, but we had two long evenings in a row, and it was quite late to fully update you with our whereabouts 😣
So Wednesday was discovery of the town through a quiz, which led your child to see key places of Derval.
But first things first, morning briefing πŸ˜‰

As we were going to have a presentation in the evening French and British pupils got the room ready.

Then groups were formed with no prompting and games were played, both in French and English 😁

Then, it was time to set off on a discovery tour.

Then back to base, ready for the next adventure πŸ‘

Different games were played, but most importantly, great fun was had on the water πŸ˜‹

The evening started with prize awards for the quiz street organised that morning, followed by the presentation of the DVD the English teacher made for when the French pupils came Wales...

... Followed by some nibbles.
Everyone went home impressed by the presentation and a belly full of cakes, crΓͺpes and sweets...

Diolch yn fawr, merci beaucoup Anaïck Goujon 😍😘😍
